One of our founders, Marcus, was just an ordinary guy heading out for a fun night with friends. There was laughter, music, and dancing – everything a good night should include. But things took a sudden and terrifying turn. Without realizing it, his drink was spiked. He began to lose control of his body and senses without understanding why. What should’ve been a joyful night out turned into chaos and fear.

What came next was the shock. That overwhelming feeling of helplessness – that something as simple as a drink could become a tool for harm – left a lasting mark. And sadly, Marcus is far from alone. Far too many – especially young people – experience their boundaries being violated because their drink was tampered with. And there are far too few solutions that truly offer protection.

That’s when Komfid was born. We wanted to create a solution that’s as simple as it is effective. No fancy tech. No hassle. Just a lid – a physical barrier – that prevents unwanted access to your drink. A small product with a big impact: safety. Peace of mind. The freedom to enjoy a night out without constantly having to look over your shoulder.
